The Premier Networking Organisation in Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton Business Forum is the premier networking organisation in Wolverhampton for all local businesses both large and small. At our events you can network with other local businesses to share information, good practice and forge links with small and large organisations across Wolverhampton. These events feature two speakers who are chosen to inspire and/or educate the attendees so that, along with your networking, you can also learn something new to use in your business.
Our meetings are very well attended, we have in the region of 100 visitors at each one, providing plenty of scope for effective networking. We often have local councillors, council staff, and politicians at our events who are willing to mingle with local business owners to understand their needs. Our aims are to:
- Organise and foster business-to-business networking events, promote camaraderie and encourage local businesses and organisations to support and trade with each other
- Develop policies and lobby Wolverhampton Council to promote a more vibrant local economy
- Interact with other business groups and stakeholders to help them to achieve their objectives, and encourage the sharing of best practice and other knowledge and skills with local businesses
We also have very close ties with Wolverhampton Business Champions who are a group of 10 large businesses who operate in Wolverhampton and come together to promote Wolverhampton as a great place to invest, work, live and visit. In fact, one of their members, Henry Carver, is our Treasurer. The Wolverhampton Business Champions attend our events whenever possible and are dedicated to fostering smaller local businesses.
The Wolverhampton Business Forum has a steering committee of seven people, led by our Chairman Sham Sharma and Treasurer Henry Carver.
